Beautiful version of Believer. I love it. It is especially impressive that she made it within a hour and as far I know she got some short list of songs to choose (which she did not knew before) and she chooses Imagine Dragons only because the band name as she liked the name :). Also she like fantasy books too :P.

And I also love that she put her stamp on her covers and change songs or mood of songs. This is a way of covering songs I really prefer, otherwise it is the same song only with some different artist or details and it does not have so much purpose:).

It's interesting you heard Auroras version as her being friendly with the pain. One of her earlier CD's was titled All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend she talked in interviews about bringing your demons out and just sitting them down and realizing they are much smaller. She also said that she hoped when her time came to pass that her demons would be there telling her how great a job she did handling them in her life. If you haven't seen any of her interviews she is a very interesting person and quite philosophical and knowledgeable. Her own music is beautiful as well.

Heureux de trouver un réacteur français, il n'y en a pas beaucoup.

This was a challenge by the radio station. To cover a song of their choosing with 1 hours notice. You will see Aurora has the lyrics written in her little note book, as she does not know the song. Dan reynolds, the primary song writer said it was inspired by his experience with lifelong chronic pain caused by his Ankylosing spondylitis affliction. A type of arthritis. I find Auroras interpretation so very fitting. An almost acceptance that you will be living with pain all your life. A knowledge that it will shape who you are, not matter what. +1 sub.

What a great interpretation to your first exposure to Aurora and her haunting cover of this song. You were already getting her from listening to a cover, I find that pretty amazing. I looked and see I didn't comment way back when you first did it, I liked it so I had seen it, I didn't really comment much when I first starting watching reactions. Anyway, really a great reaction to your introduction to her style and her voice

Aurora was given this song by NRK Radio with only 1 hour to rehearse then perform it live. I think she did a great job with the song in one hour only. She was reading the lyrics from her book as she sung.

Une de mes artistes féminines favorite avec un univers bien marqué . Un autre de ses covers que j'aime beaucoup LIFE ON MARS de David Bowie . Merci pour la réaction .😊

Nice reaction🤗

I absolutely agree with what you say 👍

I love both versions, but I’ve never really listened much to the lyrics until Aurora’s version, it’s so hauntingly beautiful😍😍

She actually didn’t know she was performing this song until she arrived at the radio station, she was there to sing her own song and a Christmas song.
She was given a list to choose from, and she chose this even though she hadn’t heard the song before😳 Makes it even more amazing😍

This is what she said:

“I'm not very good with new music as you probably all know. I also went through their list of songs and saw the name Imagine Dragons. I hadn't heard of them before and thought it was such a cool name - DRAGONS ARE SO COOL!” AURORA

I highly recommend reacting to
“Runaway” live at the Nobel peace prize concert 2015
She wrote this song when she was only 11 years old, and at that age she didn’t quite understand the meaning of the song, but as she grew older she knew that home meant home to her parents💕

She's really good at conveying emotions through her singing (and, most of the time, her gestures too), that's the reason why I listen to her live most of the time (nearly only live, to be honest...). Bearing the lyrics, and deliver their meaning, seems to be a priority, as it's never eclipsed by the technical or "aesthetic" aspect, for me at least.
That said, to make sport, her version is far less efficient than the original sung by Dan Reynolds, I guess...😀 which is a good song, by the way, I agree with you.👍
Thank you for this nice reaction.🙂👍

7:09 I feel it’s a very sad, and as you said dark, version. It’s accepting that the pain is there to stay.
