This one took me on an emotional journey that I was NOT prepared for. How does she do it?

I heard somewhere that she read an article about an older couple where the wife had terminal cancer and the husband killed her to save her from the pain.

Aurora's "It Happened Quiet" is another impactful one. "Cure For Me" is a good one to show that she can be silly and loves being herself.

This song always reminds me of when I had to put my dog down because of cancer. I also cried and cried and hope he understood why I had to do it...

The guitarist is Odd Martin Skalnes, an artist from Norway. Aurora actually was the opening act for Martin's band before they began collaborating. As for the meaning of the song, Aurora has referred to it as a tragic love story.

This is one of the most hauntingly beautiful live performances ever in my opinion. I love it.

Also: just got to THAT PART, where Aurora unleashes. Its definitely emotional when she does. I have absolutely nothing to compare it to; when she does those upward, powerful slides, it is jarring and terrifying and astonishing all at once.

My sugestion is the full concert at Nidarosdomen, you can cut it one by one if you want, but IMO it's still the BEST show, the perfection level of the arangement, location, acoustic, light, display, filming, everything is masterfull.

This one always reminds me of my younger brother who has had to leave people behind in war. It haunts him everyday as if he killed them himself, but he also knew there wasn't a way to save them even if he tried to. I could never show him this song, I think he'd bust out into tears.

One of the things that I love about Aurora is that she not only sings a song but she "owns" it, lives it and acts it out to her audience as well.

This always struck me as the spirit of a woman, killed by her loved one in a mercy killing (I think of the Robert Latimer case here in Canada), was she sick and suffering, or was he just deluded about what suffering might come in life, now she's dead and watching him cry over her loss. She loves him and feels she needs to say that he didn't mean any harm, he was just trying to spare her from the suffering of life. She watches him hold her body and cry as her spirit slips away, here I go....the gun is gone and so am I...here I go. It's very sad. Aurora has said that the song came to mind after she heard a similar story on the radio.

That's our Aurora! I feel when I watch her sing live I'm on a journey with her. She doesn't make music for your expectations or to please the audience she makes music to express something she feels strongly about. That's why I adore her. Awesome reaction! New sub for this exploration of her music🫡

She is such an amazing artist. Not just a singer. She's a pure, talented artist. Story teller.

Just subscribed because of Aurora. You've been looking to see where her voice can go. Try "Through The Eyes of a Child" live at Nidarosdomen. Simply beautiful. Seen her live and she's amazing. . She has a huge catalogue of varied styles.

This song tears me apart every time I hear it.

It is dark but it is also about compassion, the many and sometimes extreme facets of love.

New subs here for the magnificent Aurora journey. She is the Queen of diversity and you did right and take her live performances. Her original is not bad at all but she is born to do live performances because of the emotions and expression. A suggest. AURORA - Lucky live in Nidarosdomen. That one is my favourite performance ever been made. And about the tears for nine years now i still been crying for several songs by her.

I never made the connection until your reaction, but this song, much like Ren's Tales trilogy (especially Violet's Tale), tramsports the listener to be a first-person observer of tragedy. Both experiences are visceral and feel so real and personal. Thank you for checking this one out, its powerful and heavy, but one of my all-time favorite performances. 🙏🏻❤️

“Lucky” from Auroras Nidarosdomen concert. The entire concert of 12 songs (3 are covers) is excellent and mesmerizing.
