john Laurens had a wife and a daughter before he died. But he never met his daughter and his wife died a year after him, leaving his daughter an orphan and a bastard. She later turned to an alcoholic and she never had kids and the Laurens family died on johns side after she died. So sadly his story was never told by his child, my heart is slowly breaking

I like how Eliza went to hold Alexander's hand most animatics depict Eliza just standing behind him as she reads this letter but we all know Eliza's is the softest cinnamon bun and she would hold Alexander bc she'll know that letter hurt more than hell

The worst part is that Laurens died not knowing that the war was over, that Hamilton had succeeded at Yorktown and ended the war. That really upsets me....
