John son of Zebedee was actually boiled alive in a pot of oil and survived. The Roman’s got so fed up with failing at killing him that they exiled him to an island, Pathos I believe, where he wrote the book of Revelation. Pretty inspiring story.

This is no joke! In these last days there will be a lot of saints of the Lord murdered and killed for their faith in Jesus! Tortured and even sent to prisons or camps! Only he that endures to the end shall be saved!
