You can also do a cross over in the beginning if you want like fake to the one side with a cross than pick it up and do a euro

Picking it up with your right foot still on the ground is a travel in HS ball. Gotta actually gather the ball between steps.

why does every trainer teach the euro step differently?....Manu's euro is the proper way: hang the last dribble high over the ball side shoulder, gather it high above that same shoulder then left-right or right-left

If he taught great foot work he wouldn’t have him slap to pick up on that right step. Because technically he still has his dribble as long as his hand isn’t under the ball. That’s not NBA or FIBA that’s just fundamental basketball. He would then bring the ball to a rest point from right hand to left as left foot establishes the first step (pivot foot) then right foot is the second step.

It would be like a jab step but slowed down. Dribble right hand, ball is on the way up you slow euro like step “jab” with right foot (but don’t start collecting ball just yet), swing ball to hit “slap” left hand for first step (left foot), then take final step with right foot back the other way. Filthy move. Remember fellas just because it’s YouTube and they look legit doesn’t mean it is. You building the wrong ones up.

Actually had one more step if he wanted it. He planted and picked up then took a step to finish. Coulda used that extra step. Y’all out here “teachin” foot work and the last two videos have been trash with the mechanics. Weird. Anyone can train these days
