the perspective tools were already pretty amazing before, but yeah, aligning two vanishing points to be on the same horizon, making parallel rulers perfectly vertical or horizontal and so on was a serious pain. great to see Krita get ever more userfriendly over time!

I finally understood what the handles are supposed to do. Thanks for the in-depth explanation!

I've used the perspective assistant tool many times before. This tool is one of the reasons I LOVE Krita!!

Never even knew that perspective guidelines were a thing in Krita, but I am so happy that I know it is now. Super helpful!

As a new artist, I just wanna say a huuuuge thanks to you guy's. In less than a week, I have been able to make some pretty amazing stuff, from within your software. All I did was pick up a 50 dollar tablet, and downloaded your software, and that's all I needed.

I have been teaching my son 2 and 3 point perspective and he is doing very well with traditional tools so it's very nice to see a free program that allows fast experimentation of theory Thank you for the video!

I've been drawing for a long time, and using krita for a while, and I didn't know about this tool, or how to use a measure points. The more you know! Thanks!

I was a long time wondering how to use those vanishing point handles, so thank you for taking the time to explain it all in detail, also the divide sections trick, so simply demonstrated, Krita has tools but we don't often have enough explanations of them because the user base is still smaller than other apps.

Wow! Thank you for this video. I have been struggling and putting aside a drawing for weeks because of a perspective issue, this will help me as I slowly work thru all the information ☺ I do wish I had a larger screen to see the options you select more clearly, but experimenting is helping me figure it out. Thanks again. Very useful, clear, and intense information.

This is a truly wonderful feature and works great once you change the snapping shortcut as you show. Great to draw along as the grid tracks the brush too, literally a whole new dimension :)

Thanks for the video! I read the docs and I was having a tough time visualizing what should be happening.
I LOVE Krita so far, been playing around with it for about a month and there are so many great features to it! I feel like it's much, much better suited for drawing and painting than Photoshop is. The way pallettes work, the brush engine and tagging brushes, the pop-up pallette...it's got so many great features. And animation is a huge plus, too!
