Even though it may have been a failure in the movie industry, I truly loved the film Somewhere in Time, it was a beautiful story, and I myself feel, a great part for Christopher Reeve. I don’t judge film by what others say about it, I go for more of watching it myself and then decide what it should be about. I judge it for content and story itself, not by what an actor/actress did before nor by the claim to fame….only what the story itself delivers. I found it so emotionally beautiful. The other one I completely forgot about was the Aviator, which I also loved watching.
Chris was a great actor in his own right, and NOT by what others perceive him as. Plus he was Superman and made the character itself become alive, a legend and a hero all in one. He embodied the character and made it his, it seem more realistic than just by acting the part, he put himself into what the character might have thought and done as a refugee from another world or country. He will always be Superman to me, both in real life for the things he stood up for, and for the character he portrayed on the screen. RIP Chris, may your memories inspire others to endure life’s challenges when all seems lost and forgotten, facing fears that may hinder our abilities, and in helping future generations to achieve their goals even under difficult circumstances.

Christopher Reeve remains such an inspiring human being years after his sad passing. He left behind such love for so many apart from his beloved family and friends. His legacy of film work remains to be seen for generations to come. His beliefs that life is beautiful and can be joyful and a lesson for others lives on. What a remarkable human being.

“And over the last few years we have heard a lot about something called ‘family values’. And like many of you, I have struggled to figure out what that means. And since my accident, I've found a definition that seems to make sense. I think it means that we're all family. And that we all have value.”
- Christopher Reeve, speaking at the Democratic National Convention in 1996.
What a Super Man.

When I see what's now available in the rehabilitation department for people like Chris, I firmly believe he'd be doing quite well, had he lived longer.
What a determined man! ❤

Dear Chris, I loved you, especially when you became I'll. I followed your whole story and cried when you died. Oh, how I wish you could have been cured! I also cried when Dana, your wife died. She couldn't live without you!😢😢

The movie "Somewhere In Time" is so underrated. The movie was beautifully made and the chemistry between Chris and Jane Seymour undeniable. If it were ever released In Netflix i have no doubt it would be top 10. It is such a great film I think timing of the release is what hindered it but the acting in the movie is Oscar worthy and the story so beautifully written. 5/5 stars

For some reason I always thought Christopher Reeve was English. I really liked him in the movie "Street Smart".

Too bad what happened to him. He was a nice guy. The incident convinced me not to get on a horse.

I wonder why the movie somewhere in time would be a disaster for him.

I think he would’ve ran for president if it wasn’t for his accident.

STUPID! Told a hundred times NEVER let go of your lines…and what’s he do? Let’s go of his lines…head first and SNAP…a QUAD! Had he held on instead of thinking he could stop the impact with his hands arms he would have swung around feet or hip ass into the ground but no…his inexperience at or of being tossed or bucked reared it’s head and so that’s where Chris left us…
Total waste…Total lack of real training from his TEAM…sad…what a way to die…
