I wish someone would walk up to one of those cops while they are off duty shopping and say, You know a lot of people steal items from this store... And see if they feel like they are being accused or not.

Is it really an investigation when they base everything on minimal circumstantial evidence and a caller who could say anything?

"You are on a public street, and are allowed to park where you want." "So, why are you still running your mouth?" We get it; You got a call. You investigated the call, and found nothing wrong. At that point you shoule just leave like the other properly trained officer did...NOT sit/argue like a 5yr old that was told NO.

We've had a lot of catalytic converter thefts in the area. Because we're spending our time writing tickets instead of investing the thefts.
If people are stealing catalytic converters, they're selling catalytic converters. Shouldn't be too hard to track them down if you spend the appropriate amount of time investigating the thefts.
