Custom Format numbers in Excel to show Millions as thousands by Chris Menard

To show 16,700,000 as 16,700 simply write a custom format in Excel.
#,##0,_);(#,##0,) will take care of it. The format to the left of the semicolon in positive and the format to the right is for negative numbers.
