My father used to have one. Never a single problem, he only did extremely strict oil changes

My mom bought a manual 2013 patriot with no power windows and only the very basic package. In the first three years it spent more time at the dealership being worked on than we spent driving it and every time it got worked on it came back with something else worse wrong with it

Only thing I hate about my 2018 is removing door trim panels. Waaay too many unnecessary screws. Other than that it’s been running great since I drove it off the lot that day. Cheapest 4 wheel drive I could afford and it’s been amazing for me these 7 years.

I had the throttle body replaced in my patriot, drove cross country with zero issues and now it’s having the same problem but no check engine. This car is an enigma 😭 went limp on me once. Im honestly torn but I love this car

Mine went into limp mode several times over 2-3 months I had taken the throttle body out and cleaned it and it did it again a few weeks later maybe 3-4 times. That was a year ago no issues since

You can’t use off brand on mopar that’s a dead give away and to relearn a throttle body for any jeep that’s not drive by cable you need scan tool no if ands or butts

You can literally see if the throttle body is working as it should. Have someone stand and watch it while you press the throttle. If it idles and does nothing when you hit the throttle as in literally NOTHING then yeah TB isnt moving. If it bogs down and wants to die its a fueling issue. You're very vague in your descriptions here. Not moving as in starts idles and goes in to gear but no throttle response or it tries to move but dies? Could be a bad fuel pump. Dont just throw parts at an unknown problem hoping it works, its not magic. Is there a MIL lamp on? The check engine light? I would start there. A lot of cars will show you the code on the odometer if you turn the key on/off 3 times i believe. I know for sure older dodge trucks did
