x = 10 and y = 4, in "real life".
I did it without the method which I need to grasp obviously.
So, doing that in my head (trying a couple of numbers) I came up with x(10) + xy (10 X 4) + y (4) = 54.
Or 10 + 40 + 4 = 54.
But I get that it would not be that easy with bigger numbers.
