Maybe it's because you can't get your team to set a damn screen for here when she's clearly the most guarded player in the league! Garbage coach.

Wins and losses are on the coach. This shields players and further supports each player in the most positive way, and it takes some stress off player. Sides is awful at this, and when she blames player(s) it creates negative tension that does not help player on the game court. This is a definite sign of a very weak coach who does not support the players. Players know this completely.

Boston needs to set perimeter screens for ball handlers, then roll toward the basket expecting a pass or rebounding.

Blaming Caitlin Clark for the loss is totally stupid. The reason they lost was because the other team won.

Indiana Fever coach *Christie *Sides and the Indiana Fever team general manager *Lynn *Dunn both have been needing to get fired since the beginning of this season! They both have done their worst jobs possible at running and coaching the Indiana Fever team!

So. what else is new. It's obvious that Sides is deliberately sabotaging Clark. It is not just stubbornness about keeping the old game plans. She is trying to gaslight the press, the game watchers, and Clark herself. She blames Clark for all the losses, in the press, and tells the press she has given Clark the green light to shoot, but it doesn't look that way, at all, when the games are played. The games have started looking like an episode of The Keystone Cops, again, and Sides is the captain.

The Fever coach is the problem, not the team or individual players. She should resign now to avoid being fired later. She's awful.

IMO, CC needs to shoot about 7 three pointers and at least 20 two pointers per game. But the coach needs to get it through the heads of her other players that is what CC and the team needs and they need to learn to clear lanes and great solid screens.

It's not really a question of can they just they're playing style to better utilize Clark's shooting ability but more question of will they make those adjustments. I say no because it is clear from the coaching staffs earlier comments that they want to play through the post as they did last year the coach is unwilling to adapt her style of play to the kind of player that Clark is. Indiana's style of play was built around Boston the coaching staff chooses to honor . So Clark is only doing what her head coach wants passing the ball into the post. I fully agree that Clark needs to take more shots but in order to do that the coaching staff has to run her off more screens and better set screens plus has to run more sets that are designed for Clark to get the shot. Some say that is why they lost the game to the sky because the end of game play was drawn up for Boston rather than Clark I don't know if I agree with that totally because had I been the coach I probably would have given the ball to Clark to bring up the floor and drawn a play to either get in the Lowe post or on the Block not because I am trying to play through the post but because those shots given the particular game clock and score situation are higher percentage shots. So I guess what I'm saying Clark does need to take more shots she needs more plays run for her and her teammates need to set better screens for her. Additionally when she gives the ball up to a teammate they need to have enough Court since to know when to give the ball back to Clark. There are so many times when I'm watching the game that I think the pass end of the post and a kick out three buy Clark will be the best option. This style play what honor of the coaches desire to play through the post but also utilize both Clark's phenomenal passing and shooting ability. As a high school or college coach I would typically not tell an athlete button Clark's case I think I would look at the game situation and just take the game over if that's what the situation calls for with or without the okay of the coach. After all the goal in professional sports is to win when within a specific system . That's what was good about Clark at Iowa the coaching staff have a game plan but they also gave Clark the green light to take over the game and do what was necessary to when whether it was in line with the game plan or not

They lost because the Storm is a better team period. Clark can shoot all the 3's she wants, Fever still gonna lose. If Clark shooting all thos 3's in college didn't win a championship, why do you think it would get wins against more talented players in the WNBA? People's logic is sad.

It’s because this coach doesn’t know how to use her to the full potential
