Coaches can be replaced in a minute a great player who sells out the arena and is a fan favorite with a positive attitude who is a proven winner can't .

When Sides favourite player doesn't pass the ball to CC it's impossible to be aggressive

Blaming the players, she totally coached them wrong in the 4th quarter. She’s an incompetent coach.

Blaming the players??? and Clark??
You are the coach?? You are stifling her ability to grow. She’s a natural point guard and a good playmaker. She does a lot of pick and roll and can spot free players like Doncic and Curry. You are using the wrong set of players to run the game. We can see everything that’s happening, we are not blind nor stupid.

Clark is a 'generational player'. Absolutely amazing athletic gifts. She will NEVER reach, or come remotely close to, her potential while Sides is her coach.

CC is not the issue .. her teammates seem to be playing on there own team

This loss is on the coach. Last 7 seconds of the game you get to inbound the basketball and the coach and coaching staff don't have a play ready for their best shooter and team star player Caitlin Clark, to take the games last shot to win or lose the game, come on coach get it together. Christie Sides believes the best role for the NCAA all-time leading scorer is to be a facilitator and not a shooter. Give me a break. Regardless CC got the basketball and double teamed, passed the basketball to Boston who missed the basket. The End

How can she take the shot when you want her to be a passer, , take accountability and don't blame others coach "figuring out"

Good analysis. However, at the end you suggested that this is about Clark learning to balance shooting and passing frequency. NO. That's 100 percent on the Sides who needs to make it known to her team that Clark has a green light. She needs to take the hit for Clark when her teammates pout and rebel. Clark, and Boston, are the future of this team. You don't like it? There's the door.

As a coach and leader, Christy Sides is no damn good, and is polarizing to the team.

Any coach who doesn't take the initiative to claim fault for her own coaching but blames the players is not the person one wants to coach.

As a group 4th quarter was terrible. I turned it off after Samuelson missed the layup, got angry and fouled going after the ball, then flipped the ball back into s Sky player to receive the technical foul. Biggest issue is she acted like she did not care.

Sides sat on her butt the final 7 minutes. She has to go. Pitiful coach!

I never ever thought I would see a coach deliberately sabotage her team. This woman is the problem and she's not the only one.

Blame Sides for the fever loss against chicago. How can a fifteen lead be lost wjthout adjustments being made by the coach. cc making great passes that are dropped or easy layups being missed. Fever team needs players like cc had at iowa, unselfish and good ball movement. We have players dribbling the ball and looking out for their own ststs! Sides could not find anyone to guard angel. WHY NOT? definetly blame coach sides!

Clark is passing up wide open shots throughout the entire game. You can see her looking at the rim and saying to herself "can't do that, need to pass". I wanted to pull my hair out of my head on one play when she passed up a wide open rhythm 3 and swung the ball to Samuelson who lofted up a air ball. It's obvious that she's trying to keep the cry babies happy.

Sides has a HS type philosophy. Move the ball, play inside out, everybody gets touches and shots. That works well on a balanced team. It's insanity on a team with the best shooter in the world surrounded by players with various levels of offensive skills.

You have to change the way you coach offense when you get a great player on your team. You can't run an equal opportunity offense. And the coach has to make it known to the team who's got the green light and who does not. Some player are slashers. Some players are intermediate shooters, and some players are screeners and rebounders.

Clark is a 25, 10 type player being held back by her own sense of unselfishness and her coach's unwillingness/inability to think outside the box and rock the boat.

And BTW...it was made clear yesterday that the TO issue is, to a degree, tied to teammates inability handle crisp and well-threaded passes.

Christie Sides needs to come out and take majority of the blame for this loss publicly and then grill these ladies behind close doors about thier lack of effort in some games.

When does the head office take over and put sides on notice .there should have been no way the other team was able to catch up.Clark needs a coach that understands basketball.

The coach needs to take charge and stop the bullying that is going on with the team
