The story begins in 1947 when a Bedouin shepherd named Muhammad edh-Dhib was searching for a lost goat near Qumran, on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea. He accidentally stumbled upon a cave that contained large clay jars. To his surprise, inside the jars were parchment and papyrus scrolls wrapped in linen. The shepherd and his companions collected the scrolls, unaware of their historical importance, and sold them to an antiquities dealer in Bethlehem.

Word of the discovery eventually reached scholars, who recognized the scrolls' significance and began efforts to acquire and study them. Excavations led by archaeologists were conducted in the Qumran area, revealing a series of caves that contained additional scrolls and fragments, ultimately resulting in the discovery of around 900 manuscripts. These ancient scrolls became known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. They contain a diverse collection of texts, such as biblical manuscripts, apocryphal works, and documents related to the beliefs and practices of a Jewish sect, likely the Essenes.

Remarkably, among these manuscripts was a mysterious non-canonical religious text that had long been forgotten by human civilization. This text, known as the Book of Enoch, offers a fascinating perspective on the relationship between humanity and the supernatural realm, including detailed descriptions of angels, demons, and apocalyptic events.

Sorry, but The Book of Enoch was rediscovered well before the Dead Sea Scrolls. In 1774, James Bruce found The Book of Enoch in Ethiopia and returned to Europe with 3 copies. Interestingly, James Bruce was a descendant of Robert the Bruce, king of Scotland.

The book of Enoch was there in Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, hundreds years before the dead sea scrolls were discovered, as part of the Church canon which includes all the books recognized by Orthodox traditions and other more books. Fact is the author of the Enoch books is unknown. However due to when they were written it could not have been Enoch himself. Also there are things in the texts that contradict The Bible

There's an old game I remember when I was much younger where you line up 50 people. The first person in line whispers a story to the 2nd person, who in turn, tells the 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc., until everyone hears the story. The story is very simple, for example, "While I was riding the #2 train in New York City, I met a woman whose name was Sarah. She was visiting from Peoria, Illinois. We both got off at Columbus Circle and took a stroll through Central Park." The version of the last person to hear the story is always completely different than the actual story told by the first person! So what does this mean? The stories in the Bible were told over a period of 1, 000 years by over 100 people! These people are telling their versions of events about things they had no knowledge or understanding of how or why they happened! Add to it the fact that it was written in different languages that needed to be properly translated AND during a period of time where there was no knowledge and understanding of the universe (sun, moon, planets, stars), climatology (weather, wind, clouds, rain, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, floods), biology, etc. During this time, many believed the Gods did these things because they could not understand why they happened. A burning bush, for example, could have easily been caused by lighting. Finally, various versions of the Bible are then put together based on what certain religions wanted to teach (the Catholic Church, for example).

I wouldn’t doubt that Enoch lives for ever just like Melchizedek, who was like Christ not a god, but, like Christ . Melchizedek was born from a woman named Salomina, who became pregnant just like Mary, his stepfather was Nir or Ner, information that I believe is in the book of Enock , the Hebrews have never accepted that a child can be born without the union of man and woman, that was the main problem accepting Jesus, and I believe that was the reason they didn’t finish writing the chapter of Genesis that mentioned one of the sons of Lameck, who was the first bigamous, and one of his sons was born the same way, and he was so furious that he wanted to kill the child, for his embarrassment, but, the elders convinced him not to do it. Those are three of the persons that we know from the bible that were born without a father. Why did God do this ? because He absolutely can do anything He wants He’s God .
