I spent 13 days in the hospital with COVID (viral pneumonia) back in November of 2022. The first 36 hours I was ventilated, on remdesivir, and placed in a medically induced coma and put under heavy restraint.

While in that state my blood oxygen level had dropped to 72% three different times. According to QI I died the first two times and on the third I was on the time line where I survived.

The most peculiar thing I remember was that I had no conscious awareness of my family, or any responsibilities. And most of all, I had no conscious fear of dying. In hindsight QI is is the only thing that makes any sense to me.

Maybe it's only when we reach the very end of life that we are restored to the moment of conception and we get to do it all over again. Same parents and all. We just get to make different choices each time.

If we are consciousness and we have always existed, it would follow that we always will exist.
