The biggest mental change I had to make to stop snacking after months and months is eating until truly FULL, not just satisfied. After 50+ years of habitually portion controlling, it was quite a leap for me. Thank you and Neisha for all you do for this community and the education you share so freely!! Blessings!

Anyone who follows through with what this man says is going to look and feel better than they ever thought possible, I know I do!

When I transitioned off of snacks anytime I felt like I wanted a snack I sat down to a full meal instead. This trained my brain to realize eating was for meals and feeling full. It knocked me out of the snacking mentality really quickly.

I started low carb and IF last July. I had lost 55 pounds by January of this year. I've kept it off by eating two full meals a day full of whole food.
YES I eat until I'm full!
YES I eat a pinch of good salt if I "think" I'm hungry.
I also try to brush my teeth after I finish my dinner so that I won't eat again!
I'm 56 years old and I feel better than I have in 15 years💪😎

What helped me the most was to re-direct whatever I was doing when I wanted a snack: take a short break to walk around the outside of the house. Vacuumed the floors, washed my face - anything to take me out of the moment. As a general comment, staying busy kept the snackiness away.

Eating snacks all th time was one of the main reasons I couldnt lose weight for a long time even when I was exercising really hard. Thing is I didnt eat according to my goal. I was actually eating too little and my body was always asking for some snacks. I realized the mistake when I decided to get myself a personalized meal plan from Next Level Diet. That was a life saver. I wasnt hungry yet I was losing fat at the same time.

Intermittent fasting was my biggest anti-snacking tool. It was a lot easier to ignore my snacking urges while in a fasted state and taught me the difference between actual hunger and a snacking habit.

Eating carnivore for 2 months, and never even crave a snack ever! It's the first time in life I've not needed "control" because there is nothing to fight against, never going back! ❤ You where the first I ever heard of carnivore, thank you for all your work to help us!!

The best tip is eating until you are stuffed. I recently had breakfast out and what I thought was blue cheese salad dressing for my side salad to go with my Swiss and ham omelette ended up having hidden sugars that spiked my insulin and caused extreme hunger 3 hours later. So I “snacked” on a few nuts, hard cheese, then ate a HUGE ribbed-pork chop until I was full. I didn’t feel hungry until the next day after 22.5 hours of fasting. That got me back on track!

As an RN working 12 hour shifts it was a relatively easy transition. My wife had already done intermittent fasting and would wait for me to eat her one meal. The busiest part of my work day was until 2PM, many days I was not eating until then. We are both switching to ketogenic due to a recent A1c I had at 5.8. Can't wait for the first follow up in a couple of months. I'm losing weight and getting those inflammatory foods out of my body!

Dr. Berry, thank you for your videos!! I was diagnosed with diabetes in October with an A1c of 9.1. I’ve been following your advice, and today my A1c is 6.9 and I’m 14 pounds lighter.

I didn’t believe the salt 🧂 one, but tried it anyway and it definitely helped with my craving during IF. I also drank a lot of sparking water, but squeezed the juice of a lemon in one litre bottle. It didn't seem to affect my diet at all and I have now reached and maintained my target weight. So very happy 😊

I especially found that keto "snacks" were the worst for me as far as weight loss.
I also think that any hunger between meals (I only eat once a day) seems to be more psychological than physical because I make sure that my appetite is satisfied with high fat at the meal. Once I break that psychological habit, I am less hungry during the intermittent fast.

Sparkling water helped me stop snacking and the pre-prepared food. Also eating more during my actual meal. So basically all of your advise Dr Berry is what I use to this day. I am so appreciative of you. I was able to reverse my t2 diabetes within months.

When my dad quit smoking he sucked on ice chips. Hand to mouth.

When I learned the consequences of eating snacks I reevaluated this habit.

Snacking on fat bombs got me through until they began to taste nasty.

Dr Berry eating enough food is good advice for women. Took me a long time to do this without dumping on myself.

Dr Berry, you are a live saver! God bless you! I star carnivore diet and honestly never feel better before then now! I was border line diabetic, high blood pressure, inflammation in my organs, complete disaster. I am 6'3" starting weight 340 lb now 290 lb and keep going down. 4 years ago back surgery and always pain. I was very addicted to carbs big time specifically bread, bagel cake and all that junk, yes junk because if is not good for your body is junk. I feel better and now down to 1 meal a day. It can be done people, is not easy in the beginning because you are breaking a bad habit and will be hard but you can do it people. Thanks God and Dr Berry. a.k.a carnivore Doc😊😊🤙🤙🤙

Learning to snack on foods that were already part of my carnivore meals helped me the most. It was easier from there to simply go to larger meals.
