The Prime Minister is battling to save her premiership after her economic agenda was left in tatters by the dismantling of her former chancellor's landmark mini-budget. Speaking after she sat silent in the Commons for roughly 30 minutes as Jeremy Hunt - the new Chancellor - told MPs he was scaling back the energy support package and ditching most of the tax cuts announced by his predecessor, Ms Truss said she wanted to apologise for the mistakes that have been made.

Remember - The DM loved her when it's owner thought her budget would stick and the wealthy would become wealthier and we'd all become poorer. Then the budget fell apart and the markets reacted and then, only then, did the DM turn on Truss. What a paper? Sold us BREXIT. Sold us Johnson. Sold us Truss. Selling the UK for years.

I'm not quite sure how intentionally transferring almost 100 billion of wealth direct from the treasury to her friends pockets was a mistake? The reaction she got was inexplicably not the one she expected, so perhaps she's sorry she "got caught, " but that really isn't the same thing at all. She's not in primary school, there's no reason for her to not know the difference.
