How to make a "Perfect Gravy"

Ingredients:
- butter
- flour
- seasoning powder
- water
- ground black pepper
- cornstarch - as a thickening agent

Procedure:
- using a skillet, mix in equal amount of butter and flour to make a roux, stir until brown in color, now add water, ground black pepper, and powdered seasoning, reduce the sauce and adjust to taste, you can use cornstarch to thicken the sauce.

Add 2 chicken stock cubes and half a beef stock cube into the hot water b4 adding it to the roux and then add a lot of crushed pepper and a pinch of salt... your welcome 😍😍😍

alternative for seasonin g powder would be salt and pepper, and if you have some kind of chicken/beef seasoning you may also add them for richer taste

You could make it even easier with a stock and add whatever spices you desire including salt and or black or white pepper.

I let vegetables sauté for a couple minutes take them out then I do the butter and flour part I add whatever broth I have usually chicken broth I blend the vegetables stir it all together in the pan and let it cook for a a minute or two 😊so good if you use chicken broth it usually taste like chicken and veggie soup I dont have to wait too long for the broth to get thick(you don’t have to blend the vegetables I personally do it bc I don’t like most vegetables so I blend it so I don’t have to think about eating them I did this with mushrooms)

So I was just trying this recipe. So easy to follow. But somehow my gravy didn't turn brown? Did I need to stir it longer? I'm kinda scared that it would break or burn, idk.
