What's For Dinner? This is our weekly video series where we share what we cook and eat for dinner during the week - but this time we're cooking at our Off-Grid cabin in the woods! For this week's menu we have the following:

I just pulled 45 pounds of tomatoes out of my freezer I grew from seed. I have another 45+ pounds still ready. I'll be making the pizza sauce. Bonus today, I found 2 roasters for 35$. I was ready to borrow one. God is good.

First I’m stealing the pizza sandwich idea to use with my cub scouts the kids will love it :)

Second, You could see you were kind of over what’s for dinner so glad you took a break to refresh. It doesn’t need to be fancy meals for me I enjoy the check in as much as the cooking.

I personally love the “what’s for dinner“ series, especially when you guys are doing basic, super simple things. I don’t feel inspired by 5 elaborate meals that take planning and preparation, that just feels unattainable to me. I like when you guys say “it’s been a long week, we’re hungry, we’re eating pickled beets and a pork chop” lol. THAT is what makes me feel like putting something on the table knowing it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to fill our bellies.

Hot pies! Your pizza sandwiches are a staple when we go camping. We also make them as phillie cheese with onions, peppers and mustard. For dessert we make them with pie fillings. Have several different Greek chili restaurants in my area. Several sell their seasoning packets in the grocery stores. I make their chili mix in the crockpot and then can it, again for camping trips and quick meals at home. I love your channel and have tried many of your recipes. Thank you for great content.

Here in Canada we have a place called "Re-Store" or Habitat for humanity store. People (or contractors) donate their leftover construction materials and the public can purchase it for much less. They always have stuff like doors, windows, sinks, toilets etc.
You might find some small batches of flooring.

Absolutely heaven!! Living vicariously thru you two love birds! It rained for 2-1/2 days here in Upstate NY. I finally was able to go there this afternoon after work... lost 1 entire tomato bed of heirloom tomatoes 😞I harvested what I could and they are ripening on the patio table, but had to pull up the plants because they started with blight and had snapped in half! 3rd year gardener! Next year? Cattle panels for sure!
