I realized after watching Donna for 3 years that she uses a simple trick to keep her threads from gumming up under the feed dogs when starting a sew line! I now hold my threads with my finger when starting, thus preventing them from being pulled into the machine. Thanks Donna!

You always make it look soooo easy. I found out why my blocks were not coming out right. What I thought was a quarter inch was not a quarter. Now I mark it out on the fabric and it looks much better. Love your tutorials.
