The panel is cool and as usual the Alexander Henry fabric is fun and whimsical. The handmade journals are amazing…..if I won one of these beautiful handmade journals I would share it with a newer friend of mine who collects journals—he has all of his friends write encouraging words and scriptures in them for him to read when he is struggling with life—actually that’s how I met him at Chick-Fil-La a couple months ago, he saw me talking with one of my friends who is also a friend of his who works there and asked me to write a birthday note in his birthday journal…..a couple weeks ago he showed me his new journal that he was given for his birthday—anyways as much as I love the beauty of these handmade journals I believe that it would bless him more. I made a journal cover for a composition notebook in December of last year and started using it as a quilting journal. Soooo not me, but it’s been fun, and I even bought stickers to add a little creativity to it. Haha!

I'm watching from Eagle River, Wisconsin (far northern WI, 20 miles from the border with the UP of Michigan). Especially love that journal with the cork over the binding area--just beautiful! Wish I could attend the market in person. Maybe someday!
