That is a subject and philosophical question. There is subjective reality based on each person’s prospective of their own experiences. People use this to attribute meaning and purpose.
Then there is objective reality. The nature of reality is not based on human prospective and is indifferent to our or any existence. Humans always want to add meaning to existence. The truth is what we make it and objective nature does not care.
People try to make existence and the nature reality about humans when it is not.

I’m a skeptic absolutely. Even when evidence is presented it doesn’t always prove the thing to be true. I don’t believe we are part of a simulation, but I could be wrong. Over the years I’ve had my own theories of what our reality is. They are far too detailed to explain here, but admittedly they are a bit crazy.
