Had my Perseus for about 3 weeks now. I love the control, I love the spin, added weights up top because I felt it lacked the power of my Electrum E. I agree with you concerning the other edges of the sweet spot lacking consistency.

I know you get comments about leaving the price out of the equation when you review paddles but I and I suspect many others support the way you do your reviews. I hope you stick to the principle of value for money because I bought my Ronbus R3 Pulsar based on information from you and other valued sources on YouTube. Keep up the great work!

Out of the all the thermoformed paddles you reviewed, which ones rank in your top 3 for power, and top 3 for control/playability?

I think the pulsar has a lot more power than the perseus. Especially if you lead up the throat

U didn’t mention the quality control with the hit or miss grit. Also the the surfaces feel different between the 14 and the 16.

I agree with the price, I won’t buy one for sure but for those who do, good for them because the major companies are also putting money back into the sport with sponsorship- player and tours. The smaller complies aren’t doing that🤷🏼‍♂️. They also need to be putting out a product that is worth it though

I have both 16 and 14 mm not gonna lie. One of the best paddles I’ve ever used, but like you said, I wouldn’t recommend them because of the price, if money is not a factor try them out.

I agree with you. Why pay that much when you can get one as good or better for about $100 less.

If you like to spend your money go ahead and get one.... just know your not going to have an advantage over the paddles that cost half as much.

Companies like Joola and Selkirk, spend alot of money on players and league sponsorships, so they need to charge more, they are also helping grow the sport of pickleball in big way, so actually their prices are justifiable imho
