Treat others as you would wish to be treated. Unless the "others" is a woman, or a child, or a slave, or someone God ordered you to kill.

How so? This sort of attitude has lead to millennia of persecution. Surely forcing your will on others can only be an evil? At the least, it certainly shows a rejection of consent, and human empathy.
What is far better, is to treat others as they would like to be treated.
