I've trained mine since he was 9 weeks old. blue heeler/ black lab mix. he just turned 2 a couple months ago. He had a couple attacks of stray dogs. first 2 i stopped it before they came anywhere near us. roomate frenchie though did get to him cause we were outside and they just let their untrained dog out and i quickly stopped it but he did act a bit reactive after that to small dogs. But took bout one session of work and he got back to normal. he a very stable dog so he does amazing work in situations a lot of dogs would be nervous in. One time at walmart someone had a German shepard that was growled at him and was having to be held back. he remained in his heel and we just kept walking. He an amazing dog and big life changer.
