YES 100% .
I could only see positive outcomes. It could help her get things out of her reach and in difficult positions. Ive seen those dogs stop traffic to let their blind master cross the road.

Yes! Definitely get a service dog. Even if it can't help her out of the wheelchair, it will help her in other ways. Like picking things up, reaching certain areas she can't. And let's not forget the emotional service and quality of life these dogs provide!

A service animal will definitely be beneficial to her. Because she is mostly wheelchair bound having a service dog even as young as she is can help her gain independence and both emotional and physical freedom.
Personally I don't use a service animal but I have a friend with CP like Dallas and they use a service dog for emotional support and physical support

Yes apply for a service dog for her now because it takes many years before she will get the dog.

I think she should get one. Even if the dog can’t physically help her get out, it could maybe be mentally help her feel the strength to get out.😊

I think you should really research it! Service dogs aren’t limited to a certain age group! I am 12 and i am a service dog handler and trainer. I think Dallas and her possible future service dog would be a good team!

she can totally get one, and there is no age limit for service dogs. And yes, service dogs can help with getting out of wheelchairs, getting into them, retrieving items, helping with mobility, etc. I think it would be a great decision

She should would help a lot. My mom works out of school that has kids with autism and dyslexia and I’m dyslexic and service. Dogs can help a lot with that.

💯% Service dogs can be trained for many different needs. Yes, dogs can be trained to assist with transferring. Also, I know many children with service dogs. I worked in education, so I have more experience than most.
