See this is why I don't get the trend with having 20+ inch rims on cars. it looks so much better with a fatter Tire plus definitely would ride better

@TFLnow I would like to see an economy run between stock wheels and tires, and the snow tires. In theory the snow tires should ruin range, but maybe the smaller wheel will make up for some of that.

Good looking wheel/tire setup. Tesla's have a bunch of curb rash due to the "stretched" tire look. the rims of the wheel sticks out. my wife's M3 of 10 months has curb rash on 3 wheels. Tesla uses 18x8.5 wheels with 235/45R18 tires. My Sportage SX of 9 years has no curb rash, factory wheels are 18x7.5 and tire size 235/55R18, the side wall bulges out a bit and protect the wheel/rim.

To the folks at Martian, would you be able to make a more aerodynamic wheel. Lighter weight is great for acceleration, handling and city efficiency...but, the open spoke "open design" hurt highway efficiency! I'm just not a fan of the MW03 wheel design.

I just ordered a Tesla Performance Y and am looking at TSportLines newly announced 18” tire/wheel package. It’s plug and play, nothing else to source or buy they arrive ready to mount. Will sell the Tesla 21” tires/wheels. The roads here in IL make Kabul look like a billiard table. Plus it gives the PMY a stealthy look.

0-60 thrill is a relative thing. If there was a car that could do 0-60 in 1 second, some people will say 3.x seconds is too slow. Fine, whatever you like. For most, 19 inch wheels and 3.8 or 4.8 for Y is good enough. A lot more comfortable for your ass and wallet too.
