I removed mines as well. But, I cut it in half and only installed the front part(the thick part). If you know what I’m trying to say. It definitely helps and no NVH at all

Okay, so when i saw some videos i was decided for red softest version. What is better way in your opinion? Red version or yellow version with trimmed backside? I want eliminate vibrations and i prefer way comfort (Golf R). Thanks.

Look at the contact points for trimming. You can see them clearly. The back side is the one with the largest surface area. The front legs do next to nothing.

Also, I have had a Spulen street mount in for 30, 000 miles and the vibes drop off. It takes 2000-3000 miles minimum. I believe what happens is the polyurethane helps compress the rubber faster and provides a clearance in between the two surfaces. But you will still get vibrations at idle, with AC on, and in reverse.

I have the BFI engine, trans and dog bone insert. The biggest difference was when I turned of the soundaktor. Most of the vibrations and sound went away. It also softened with some driving.

Mark would love to see a quick side vid on you commenting on the new MK8 GTI. Obviously just the pics and vids are available now as it hasn’t been released in the US but would be interested in your opinion as a fellow GTI lover. I think the interior looks really odd, don’t love the seats which was always the best on the GTI, and the shifter is truly awful I think.

Would motor mounts help the wheel hop?

I would just cut all of them halfway down kind of like the bfi stage 1

Don't cut it! Stick it back in and suck it up! Don't forget you cut that yellow one down way too far.

What about drilling some holes? Instead of cutting the thing up
