Those neuspeed wheels are my favourite. I would put 2 new tyres on the same axle

Bro, that's shitty luck... I get the 'low pressure' warning a couple of times a year in the old GTI. In most cases it's a fake alert, but I always pull over immediately to check it. If real, then I can plug it the nail myself in most cases. Saves me from buying 2 new tires, which suck if the thread is still deep. .. Okay, it is what it is. I suppose you will order them on-line and have them slapped on at your local tire fitter?

Bummer Mark - when it's not in the sidewall it usually can be plugged and/or patched - I had a patch on a tire about a year ago that I really never "trusted" - I almost wish any damage is on the sidewall - I just replace the tire.

Those Neuspeed wheels are definitely my favorite on the Ara Blue paint

Dang 7/32 or so… still fresh ….that’s totally lame…. Depending on how long you drove the car with no air on the tire that is sketchy sometimes you can have the shop pull the tire off and look at the inside of the tire to see if there is any damage, however I think you’re doing the right thing and that that’s what I would do. I don’t wanna compromise on something like that …..On the ISF I have 255 3519 in the front and 28530 19 in the back…. The drivers side back tire slowly loses air and I was hoping it was just the valve stem ….but I went to American tire and some clown Tried to fix it and do a very good job of it. They said they couldn’t touch it so I’ll just live with a slow leaking tire they have a production date of last year. I’ll just live with it and then jump to a set Michelin pilot 4s…

See aren’t you glad you saved those rims, that’s why I was saying to you you should maybe hold onto those…. are those the the pilot a/s 4s?

Why didn't you just use the spare in the trunk to limp home instead of going through all this trouble of swapping wheels/tires?

5/32 is considered still "legal" but replace.... I'd just replace two.... since the tires are so low profile the bead would be pretty stout - I'd think you chew up your rim to try to replace it - even with the $100 tire tool from harbor freight....
