To me since I have both. Xs max has darker blacks , XR has brighter whites. XR screen at night is brighter. That I noticed. Now as for portrait pics on XR. I downloaded the Focos app. Which works pretty damn good. I prefer the XR over the Xs max.

I have the iPhone XR and I absolutely love it. The screen doesn’t even look bad it actually looks better than my old iPhone se the camera is amazing and is very fast the battery lasts all day and I’m no longer plugged into the wall constantly I will say the price is a little steep but when you realize that there is really good technology in it it is actually a really good deal I would recommend this phone to anyone out there that has the iPhone 7 and under (maybe even the iPhone 8) but anything newer than that it wouldn’t be a good upgrade for you but I would recommend it i think you will be pleased with this phone

My 6s was still running strong, very strong actually. So you’re right the XR will last long. I upgraded from the 6s to a black 64gb XR. I have to say it’s the best phone I’ve ever used since my 6s. All I really care about is speed and processing power. The A12 and 3gb of RAM will blow your mind. 😀

I’ve seen the iPhone XR in real life and dude it isn’t as bad as u think the screen is actually really good so is the camera and everything about that phone is actually good so if your not sure wether to get the XR I’d say really do think about buying because it’s good you have too see it to believe it

Nick, got a pair of XR’s a month ago on a “bogo” carrier deal. Pleased with em so far. We typically upgrade every 2 - 3 years so good to hear your thoughts on the staying power.

I’m watching this using the XR and it’s amazing it’s just the right size. And cmon iPhones are well known for lasting long. The iPhone 6 is still going very strong today and yeah for sure at least 6 years. I didn’t regret buying the XR :) I bought the black one, cuz I feel the edges blends out nicely and less noticeable :)

I have the product Red XR. I love it, I’m glad I bought it, my friend has XS we were comparing and really the only difference was the 3D Touch which really wasn’t a big deal. I’m happy with the XR

I got the Xr and while it’s a huge upgrade from my 6S plus, I really am regretting my choice. It’s a great phone, but the lack of an oled display really bums me out and I miss the fuck out of 3D Touch. Also the size that works best for me is the Xs Max. I just couldn’t afford it. So, basically, I have a great phone, much better than what I did, but if money wasn’t such a problem I’d take the Xs Max over this in a heartbeat.

Great video Nick! I've been subbed to your channel for just a few years now. Me coming from being an Android only user. I have to admit that I have no regrets at all for purchasing my first ever I Phone! The XR 64 GB model is perfectly fine for me! I agree with your remarks about how long this device should last. I had heard one other fairly reputable YouTuber say they thought it should last at least 3 years. That was when I was trying to decide whether I wanted to take the plunge into the world of Apple. I hold you and your opinions in fairly high regard! If I'm the only one then so be it for your believability! There are only a few whom have proven their worth to me. You definitely being one of those few! So far most everything you state has been proved to be so! Being 110 percent honest. (I am)! I have only had mine for 2 weeks now this coming Thursday. It took me just 2 days to learn the IOS system. I still have all my other 5 Android phones that I can switch out to whenever I desire to. I appreciate you and your channel Nick! Xr looks pretty with that new colours.
The screen is great no issues the best LCD screen on a smart phone.
The battery backup is AMAZING easily lasts for One & Half day for sure even under heavy usage.
I love the blue XR it looks fantastic.👍
