A sore point for many owners of the 2018-2022 10 speed Ranger/Ranger Raptor/Everest is just how reluctant it feels to get moving when performing a slow take off.

This is due to the stock tune allowing the torque converter to slip excessively, barely providing any torque transfer, as well as shift points being set way too high. All this means is you can't make use of any low RPM torque available from the BiTurbo 2L diesel with the factory transmission tune!

Look how easily these vehicles move once our transmission tune is loaded in - using the lockup clutch in the torque converter means every Nm of torque the engine produces is sent to the wheels rather than being lost in slip.

Our shift points are matched to the torque curve far better than the stock calibration, and as noted can be altered to suit individual preferences for driving style, type of use, and vehicle weight.
(Our standard 10R80 base map shifts closer to 2000rpm at light throttle, still providing a very relaxed drive compared to the stock tune)
