IMHO- governments are reluctant to legalize psychedelics NOT because they are concerned about safety- but concerned about an increase in level of consciousness and awareness, gaining momentum to where these corrupt institutions are challenged. I used LSD, peyote, psilocybin throughout high school in the 60s and early 70s. It definitely didn’t harm any of my friends or myself. Of course the US government allowed massive amounts of opioids to be prescribed over a 20 year period leading to the worst addiction problem we’ve ever had ….the DEA, the FDA big Pharma, the AMA -doctors all colluded and made many millions of dollars - no corruption there. it’s flat out a crime that they are not allowing what we know can be helpful for depression and PTSD to be used legally. Nope I guess they prefer people shooting up on the streets and living in tents.

very informative interesting video especially about the TARR receptors. One question, is this is just a new medicalised reworking of practice, that people have been doing for hundreds of years. People have always taken Psylocibin over the centuries and that there needs to a reason why people still do. Whether clinical or spiritual.

You are 25 years behind people like myself who have already used these drugs to heal. Your fraternity calls it a substance abuse disorder. For some it can be but for others who read a lot and helped myself when your fraternity could not because you are always so sure of your theories and expertise. We could have informed research but we were demonised as people resistant to care. Your 'care' traumatised many more than it helped. I pity those guided by you through their mdma and lsd experiences. Every weekend people choose this therapy unsupervised.

Incorrect and no references. The largest study to date with psilocybin with over 250 pts, showed that only the 25mg showed efficacy. However, that efficacy was gone after 12 wks. Also the higher the dosage the more suicide attempts. That includes the 10 and 25 mg groups
