How to fix "Could not open file /var/lib/dpkg/status" Error & Cydia Crashing on iOS 10 - 10.2 Jailbreak! | Fix Cydia Error "var/lib/dpkg/status" on Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak without Terminal

Errors this will fix:
Could not open file /var/lib/dpkg/status"
Could not open file - open (2: No such file or directory)
flAbsPath on /var/lib/dpkg/status failed - realpath (2: No such file or directory)

If you are getting "trying to overwrite /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries" error:
1. Open Filza
2. Go to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries
3. Remove 'DynamicLibraries'

If you are getting "missing var/log/apt" error: Open mTerminal and enter mkdir /var/log/apt

I'm getting this error in Filza when trying to move lib to var: ""lib" couldn't be moved because you don't have permission to access "var."" How do I fix this??

For those wondering like I WAS YOU NEED TO UNZIP THE LIB file after you download it.
THEN on top of that I NEEDED to go inside that unzipped file and only move over the lib folder not the __MACOSX folder. I tried to just use the main lib folder but it fixed nothing.

Doing it this way where I didn't add the __MACOSX folder helped. But my Cydia is still spitting out other errors unrelated to this fix so I think it worked. Much better than what he showed me to do anyway. Hope this helps any who need it since I didn't have that sort of help. I just tried other variations to see if it would help and it did.

I have no permissions to do anything in Filza. How do I fix that? For instance, I cannot delete DynamicLibraries neither I can replace the lib file.. Please HELP! :)

What if I can't open cydia at all? I've tried everything from reinstalling the yalu app multiple times and turning the phone on and off to try to "re-jailbreak" from the yalu app with no luck, it's an iPhone 6 on 10.2 and I have seen a lot of people with this same problem

I understand you made this video 2 years ago but I hope you still will reply. I have an Ipad 2 running on 9.3.5. I downloaded the lib.zip file, put it into the books section of my Ipads storage using fun box, used the impactor attempted to download Filza 2, the impactor froze so I used the Ifiles and I managed to get it on the device and running. I moved the Lib.zip file to the "var" section of the files and put it in there. I then launched Cydia only to still have the same error "Could not open file/var/lib/dpkg/status - open (2: No such file or directory)". I am stuck at this part and have no clue what to do, I was confused for an entire 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get "Files" on my device before I realized that the links in your description were those files. I'm still having the same error as when I started and have fixed nothing. Please help - Thotley

For everyone who has this error "trying to overwrite try using iFile instead of Filza. Do the same process Go to
