How fix E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (13: Permission denied) | Ep. 1

This is the first episode of a series for viewers to learn the basics of Kali Linux knowledge. In this video, I will show you how to grant root access to Kali Linux Terminal so you can type a command without any errors such as "E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (13: Permission denied)". For the ones who are still getting access denied on every command: try putting "sudo" before the command, like "sudo get-apt update", it gives you root privileges. =)

Hello, here is what happened to me while I was updating my kali..
- could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-fronted. It is held by process 2107 (apt)
-be aware that removing the lock file is not a solution and may break your system
-unable to acquire the dpkg fronted lock(/var/lib/dpkg/lock-fronted), is another process using it?
Help me fix this please... 😔
