Thank you. I didn't notice the Max Frame rate setting in the Nvidia panel before.. only noticed the Preferred Frame Rate option to which I had set at Maximum.

Hello friend, how are you, if my monitor supports 50hz-144hz but not 30hz - 144hz, on AMD GPU I could use the resolution customization to place it at 30hz or that will affect the monitor somewhat due to the strobe lights.

every single game i play has brutal stutters even if i put it at 30fps cap with rivatuner. i have gtx 1080 ryzen 2600 . i rebuilt my entire pc twice it still happens. literally nothing fixes it. i watch MSI afterburner frametime graph and there is constantly huge random spikes even tho the FPS is stable and my pc more than powerful to run the games. why is this still a problem in 2021? Gonna watch the whole vid, but im not optimistic i will ever fix it at this point .


Btw you should open a frametime graph on your screen to actually make sure its running properly. use MSI afterburner

im playing at 60hz, no overheating no dust, low temps, even if i crank all my fans 100% no difference in stutter. reformat windows, etc. What do you suggest for me?

Ok, these are good tips, I have it all done (lowered refresh rate and cleaned startup programs) except for tRC in BIOS, will do it tomorrow and see what will happen (following your advice of tRAP + tRAS = tRC, I really hope my computer won't brick :D), should I also try lower numbers for the other timings like tCL, tRCDRD and tRCDWR?
