[Beyond the 4 Factors (II)] Mike Beuoy, Nathan Walker, Andrew Patton

Although the vast majority of NBA teams already invested a lot of resources to build competitive basketball-based data science departments, few opportunities in this field are given in Europe. Given this lack of expertise, sometimes it is hard to teach "sports analytics", since precise examples are only acquired with years of experience at a pro-level.

Given the positive feedback of the first event of Beyond the 4 Factors, today we brought together Mike Beuoy and his presentation entitled "Keeping your eye on the ball: Using tracking data to understand shot mechanics", Nathan Walker, who did a shallow dive into clutch situations, and Andrew Patton, that explained us "The How and Why of Communication with Graphics".
