Quick Ish Thoughts on Nex Machina Closed Beta

Nex Machina was a delightfully simple and fun game I found in the PS4 Booth @ PAX East 2017! A fun and colorful Twin Stick Shooter on the PS4. Nex Machina is brought to you by Housemarque the makers of Resogun.

I’ve been super excited for this game, ever since it was announced at PSX last year! Housemarque makes phenomenal games, hands down! RESOGUN is one of the best games on PS4…that and Alienation (also by Housemarque)! Nex Machina is basically Alienation and RESOGUN smashed together (or Alienation on steroids)! If you want to play something close to Nex Machina then definitely play both of these games! Alienation is free right now for PS Plus subscribers in EU. If you’re not in EU it’s only $20 on PSN and it’s worth every penny!

I am also in the PC Closed Beta and some friends of mine have asked how I am liking the game. Going forward I think I will link them to this review video of yours as you echo many of my own impressions. I also will be holding out hope for local co-op to be added as this is the kind of game my wife likes to play with me if there is local co-op. They do have history of adding local co-op support as they did with Resogun and then also for Alienation both of which had initially launched having just online co-op.
