What voice are you hearing?

What spirit do you follow?

There are many voices that we may hear and think it is the Lord. Any spirit that speaks to you CONTRARY to His commandments is trying to get you to follow your emotions and it is not the true voice of the Spirit of God.

The true voice of the Holy Spirit is ALWAYS going to agree with the Word of God!

We cannot trust what man says, only the Word of God. If you put the Word of God in your heart, it will protect you from being deceived and keep you from following "another spirit"!

2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

We know the true voice of the Spirit by the Word of God because the Bible is written by the Holy Spirit!

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he who is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

If we love God we will obey Him, and if we obey God we will keep His commandments and be protected from being deceived by following a wrong voice and spirit.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is begotten of God and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
