According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 268 bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers were able to be taken out of the Crinok, 778 are missing ( drowned, burned, torn to pieces . These are only military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, not taking into account other military ( SO forces, alarm bells and others ) In Krinkie, one large grave was built for Ukrainians.

They kicked out the general who was in charge (Sodol). A lot happens behind the scenes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Krynky was always about forcing russia to keep men and material there, instead of the where russia needed them most. I would suggest you look out how much material and men russia lost attacking that area. It might change your perspective. They left because 1/2 of drone operators left to defend Kharkiv and the marines needed to refit.

It was a foolish display of Instagram-warfare, that cost too many good fighters. You have to punch through a weak spot with Your troops and keep going if a big river divides your main line from this attack group. War is logistics and already deprived from a full arsenal, don’t overstretch the line of supply. During all those months, Ukraine was on the backfoot on three fronts with a full brigade committed to no man’s land. Ukraine wants to tell good stories in order to get NATO to help them, it’s understandable but likewise futile. They now severely lack bodies because the next generation might much less want to wage war when the women live now a great spoiled life in Western Europe. The best strategy is still the Wellingtonian way: position well, let them attack and make small counterattacks when needed. Ask for additional help, funding and be nice to Your allies.
