Boris Johnson Rejects Trump's Call to Team Up With Nigel Farage's Brexit Party

British prime minister Boris Johnson on Friday dismissed US President Donald Trump's call for him to team up with Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage.

Johnson told British broadcaster ITN that voting for any other party could lead to a further delay to Britain's departure from the European Union, and could hand victory to opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Farage on Friday piled the pressure on Johnson, saying his Brexit Party will run against Johnson's Conservatives across the country in the Dec. 12 early election unless Johnson abandons his divorce deal with the EU.

Asked about having broken his repeatedly-stated promise to lead the UK out of the EU by 31 October, Johnson said he "bitterly" regrets that "parliament voted not to implement the deal".

Johnson had promised for months that the U.K. would leave the 28-nation bloc on the scheduled date of Oct. 31 "come what may."

He struck a divorce deal with the EU last month, but Parliament blocked his plan to rush it into law in a matter of days.

Amid the impasse, last week the EU granted Britain a three-month Brexit delay, setting a new Jan. 31 deadline.

Actually a vote for the "Brexit" Party seems to be a far more ensuring way to impose a real Brexit.

Nothing to do with Trump. He needs to sort out all of his own problems.

I honestly don’t know which is worse; Trump or Brexit. They’ve both just absolutely torn apart their respective countries.

What ever occurs being a British American with living in both Countries since birth and looking to move back to North West England, I hope the problem is fixed for all the citizens in the UK . Unfortunately America and the UK are the political laughing stock of the world at the present time and neither country needs this.

Following Donald Trumps advice can and will certainly end any and all political aspersions you may have. Don't fall in the trap. Trump is the worst person to take any political advice from.
