Cant go wrong with either of these excellent cars. RAV4 has some advantages: 1. Spare tire, 2. Panoramic roof option, 3. Ventilated seats, 4. Rear camera is better, and perhaps most important of all 5. Better fuel economy. CRV has 1. More interior space, 2. More cargo space, and (subjective) 3. Better looks

It's interesting that you guys are comparing the top trim from each model, while the most popular models are usually the mid-trims.

I like the tech in the RAV4 but the CR-V looks like a good place to spend time: comfy leather seats, rich sound quality, spaciousness, not to mention ride and handling.

Remote start is important to me ( and I don’t want to pay a subscription!). I have ventilated seats in my old cars. Never used them. Seldom use my sun roof. Cargo space and passenger comfort, efficiency and reliability. I have owned a Rav 4 and 2 CRV. Definitely leaning to CRV.

I really appreciate the side by side views. It’s extremely helpful. Thanks also for doing the decibel testing because interior noise is a key factor for me.

Got the 2023 RAV4 base trim and I absolutely love it. Don't need anything fancy, and I appreciate how you actually get to use keyed entry/cranking.

19inch rims are not a pro for the crv. Give me some sidewall and better priced tires

Toyota RAV4 has more features: fog lights, heated and ventilated seats and better mileage so it gets my vote.

The CR-V looks like the Volvo CX60 which I really like 👍

CR-V all day. More upscale interior, slightly better looks, better handling, and more room. Though, I’m not sure why it’s lacking so many features.

Honda for me. I just like the design better.

You brothers just get better and better each week!

The blue with black trim on the CRV definitely helps to remove some of its dullard characteristics. It gives me a touch of Volvo in styling(especially in the rear) and proportions. Its odd, this loaded RAV4 is only $4400 less than a Highlander Limited. Sheesh.

I think its definitely time for the RAV4 to be refreshed now.

I was rooting for the CR-V until you mentioned that "ventilated seats" was only available on the Rav4.. instant win for the Rav4 in my book.

I really wanted the RAV4, but they were 5-7K above MSRP, so I ended up getting the CRV, which isn't a bad vehicle, but I like all the technology the RAV4 comes with.

Great review. But...So you chose not to give the CRV a point for remote start? How about the mechanical AWD system that only the CRV has... 🤔

If the Honda Hybrid had more color choices for the inside and ventilated seats, I'd be all on board

These AWD systems are different. If you live in snow country, make sure you try them out in snow before buying. My last RAV-4 was not good, even with small amounts of snow. I felt my 2018 RAV-4 did not do well in snow. Paying $40, 000 for a vehicle that does not fit your needs could be an expensive mistake.

Both are awesome and offers some difference for different people, I love Honda products because the offer more room and still some fun...and race pedigree includes this weekend as F1 racing world champion engine supplier 2 years in a row

How they handle on rougher road and off-road situations is really what I am interested in and the only reason I am considering an SUV as I am into going off the beaten path for outdoor adventures. None of that was discussed unfortunately. The missing spare tire on the Honda CR-V would definitely be a disqualifier though. I have had too many flat tires in remote locations with no cell-signals.

I think the crv deserves a point for having a mechanical AWD system
