Surviving EXTREME COLD On Our NARROWBOAT | WINTER On The FROZEN LLANGOLLEN CANAL Pt 6 Ep 55

It was cold. SO Cold. We didn't expect to our narrowboat to be frozen in on the canal that rarely freezes! This was the most challenging time of our winter living aboard our narrowboat on the Llangollen Canal. We had ice on the INSIDE of our windows! But once the ice finally melted we were able to cruise across the stunning Chirk Aqueduct and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct again (with some fabulous drone footage by Pete) and complete our journey to the very end of the Llangollen Canal, to the absolutely beautiful Llangollen Basin. It will be hard to top the beauty of the Llangollen Canal on our narrowboat journeys, and we will definitely be back!

Well done for going all the way down to Llangollen Basin as many boaters turn around in Trevor Basin, as the Llangollen arm is very narrow and windey and can be difficult to turn around in the basin if full 👏👏
We enjoyed sitting in the beer garden of the Trevor Basin pub (can’t remember it’s name) and watching the narrowboats turning onto/leaving the Llangollen arm- very tricky.
You captured a beautiful sunrise 🌅
It’s pronounced Trevor the same as in the gentleman’s name 👍

Can't tell you how much I loved this video. We cruised the Llangollen in September. It was so cool to see it in the winter. And it was great that I was - the whole time "I KNOW WHERE THEY ARE EXACTLY!" and "We moored right there too!" Big hugs and warm wishes for you and all those you love for the coming year. It was also fun to share this video with our children and tell them all about our connections, meeting you all, and what a lovely time we had when we met you.
