Thanks Jason. Enjoying your emphasis on Frequency, and hitting the muscle while it's still slightly sore. I've been 2-day split training, Mon thru Sat. Wonderful results, upper & lower body. Most days usually around 20-25 reps. My Heavy day every 2 weeks or so, at about 12 reps. Avoiding injury is vital. Thanks again Jason for sharing your weight training wisdom with us.

I recently found out that this is very true for me: I incorporated your idea of training muscle groups in different rep ranges throughout the week, and I noticed improvements like I had not seen in a long time; however, now when I train low rep ranges I usually recover faster (yeah, I don't know) and the next training session I need more warm up to get in the groove. Does that make sense, Jason? MOUNTAIN!

Love how you keep talking about the same keys of training that you already posted, most of fitness youtubers talk about it once, and never talk about it again, and maybe their new subs miss the best informations. SUGGESTION: Next videos you could talk about how different angles or variations may improve your progress instead of just going with 1 exercise without strengthning others muscles who could help.

Hey Jason! Just bought your "ethereal" and "the move" albums, listening to the song ethereal as I type this. People if you like his music get his albums at his website!

Good music I must say. 🙂😀

So I started training your way some weeks ago, by decreasing the absolute full range of motion, until it feels "right" according to my body. What I found was suprising: stronger pump; tighter and bigger muscles after training them; a stronger mind muscle connection; and the muscles soreness I was experiencing before, was actually joint pain; now my muscle soreness is minimal and I can train almost everyday :D
The only downside is the increased tightness of the muscles, which shouldn't be a problem, considering that I do Yoga and everyday stretching.

Totally in the leg-cardio-breathing-boat, too... Only since I started doing one or two (light) sets to "breath failure" of squats each day, my regular leg training isn't hindered by my endurance but by my muscles.

Thanks for the advice! Then I always waited a little too long in between my workouts.
I thought it is best to be fully recovered when I start my next workout. Definitely something I will directly implement now.

The part where he's holding his hamstrings hahhaha!

Excellent advice once again. I've been struggling to pin this down, but had been reluctant to train again until fully recovered, just because, you know... lack of knowledge, something you remedy for us newbies on a daily basis! Thank you once again Mr Gallant!

Same for me, my hams take longest to recover and I stretch my legs way more than any other part of the body.

Yeah I agree when you're just a little sore the warm up and the pump take away that intial DOMS. And if you're at 100% and don't know your body well you can be more likely to get injured
