I had basic training on Allen Bradley PLC5 30 years ago. I remember having to educate one of our engineers who was having a problem with a circuit and kept thinking of it as simple NO, NC. I reminded him it's XIC and XIO, and that solved their problem. I haven't written ladder logic, or had to view it since, but it's fun to relearn this. I enjoyed it very much and your video was spot on!

Isn't it easier to say "if using a NO switch, use XIC, and if using a NC switch, use XIO"?

Hey Ali, thanks for all this videos, great help to learn the PLC as you explain it in details.
In this video you mentioned STOP ( N.O momentary! ) and chooses XIO, in the next video you mentioned STOP (N.C momentary) and chooses XIO ( which seems right), shouldn’t be the same in this video also and use XIC for STOP PB ( as it’s a normally close PB )?!
