FIRST DAY OF HARVEST 2020

Here we go! We've made a start on harvest 2020, cutting some spring barley with the Claas Lexion 760. It started off alright, with the yield being better than we thought, but the day didn't end so well due to an issue with the combine.

The joys of machines and being a Farmer Nick lol. Your crop is short on the straw but the head looks fuller than we all thought it would be. We have began harvest to and like you the straw is so short this year as you said you are running the head lower than normal. Look forward to more videos of harvest Nick. Great video

Hi Nick great to see you’ve made a start with harvest. Sorry to say but we’ve just finished 3000 acres we had an early start in July but even with a new 8700 with a 40 foot flex header we still had issues, working ground & spreading muck ready for next harvest good luck with yours some nice weather on the way 🤞take care both stay safe

Hi Nick, great vid, always enjoy the harvest time. Near me they did it a couple weeks back now but all good. The farm nearest me has their own New Holland Combine from around 1999 and they have use of a JD Hillmaster I believe also, as some of the fields they do have quite an incline!

Liked the Video and don't worry we have done 2 wheat fields so we're nowhere near getting our Harvest into full swing yet! Looks promising it hasn't rained all nite and Morning.
