My dad always said "you cant trust a man who doesn't like cats. You can kick a dog and he will come back and lick your boots. A cat will exit. A cat can't be dominated, therefore the person does not like someone who can't be dominated. A cat loves you because he wants too "

I'm definitely a cat person. I love dogs too, but as a house companion, I prefer quiet, non-routine and cat naps with my furry friend! =^..^=

In my personal experience, most people who say they don’t like cats don’t have a lot of experience with them and eventually grow to love them with more exposure to them.

I love cats, hell I’m watching this with a cat on my lap, honestly I just love how quiet and affectionate they can be

Cat person. However, cats are routine driven as well. They expect you to give them treats, play, and cuddle at specific times.

Having lived with multiple dogs, cats, birds, fish, a bunny, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, a tarantula, and even praying mantisis I've learned that almost any animal that can be considered a pet can be a great companion and friend

I'm 100% a cat person. Living out in the country can be hassle because there are critters that like to get into my house without me noticing. However my cats would take of the problem at hand and show their work to me.

I fit the profile of a cat person being introverted- i’ve loved cats since i was a little girl- petting their fur and listening to their purring brought a lot of comfort and calm because i was such a sensitive shy fearful child who struggled with anxiety from early childhood abuse

I remember having a discussion with a person who said he hated cats and loved dogs. I told him of a study I read that people who hated cats was because they hated that they couldn't control a cat like a dog. You could command a dog to do something, not so with cats and showed insecurities of the person who like to control people. He was the VP of a company I worked for.. I quit a year later lol. I don't like to be controlled lololololol

Cats are themselves “introverted”. That’s why you have to live with them to really discover them and know them, and that’s why for some people it’s harder to love them at first sight.

I’m a massive introvert but I love dogs, and I think that compliments me well. I love spending time away from people, but my dog is always in the same room as me, on a couch nearby or next to me and I can aggressively hug and cuddle her whenever I want to. I’m spending time alone but with a friend that also needs affection on a daily basis.

Everyone I know loves cats & disagree on the personality. I’m a National Sales Director so I’m pretty outgoing. My cat is very affectionate and greets me when I get home. He also loves meeting people that visit. He loves being around his human family and loves cuddling and getting rubs. Everyone I know with a cat have outgoing personalities. People that say they don’t like cats never owned one and I don’t trust them..

My cats as far back I remember love routine. They enforce my routines on me, even the ones that don't directly effect them. If I try to neglect something, they let me know. I've often told people considering getting a cat that they almost function like planning calendars or alarm clocks. Once they see you establish a routine for yourself, they'll help you maintain it. So, I don't understand this vid's bit about them not liking routines, not at all.

I grew up with cats.
I notice I’m really quiet but I feel comfortable in a group of people. And I like to share myself if people ask, otherwise I won’t tell anything about me.

I like dogs too but I definitely prefer cats. They're usually more chill. And I like the fact that you have to earn their trust, it feels very rewarding to be loved by a cat.

I also was attacked by a dog as a kid, and while I mostly got over it, I still feel nervous when the dog (especially a large one) is running towards me and barking.
