________

On a gorgeous January So Cal morning, I decided to document my run without narration, music or any other sound except for what I naturally and organically hear when I'm running trails. So come join me as I run 10+ miles through the coastal trails of the Santa Monica Mountains as I try to convey the joy and simplicity of running in nature.

These are the best type of videos. Theres is so much noise pollution in our cities, that silence is something that we should seek now and again

Very meditative. Thank you! I also loved that your camera person tried to match your footfalls so there was only one cadence. 💜

Awesome vid Billy. Well done Hillary on keeping quiet for so long. Lol. Joking. As a solo runner a do 95% of my runs alone. The theraputic value of solitude and silence nature is beyond what any book or course can fathom. It is here where you get to know yourself, where your soul touches your spirit and for those so inclined where you connect with your deity. I used to run with earpods and music. Now I just run. Sometimes I sing to the birds, sometimes I talk to myself and sometimes I solves life's mysteries. But mostly I listen. My feet on the ground. My breath in my nose. My heartbeat in my ears. My voice in my mind. My voice. My mind. My life.

So beautiful. There’s no better sound than the sound of feet running on a trail. Loved this format. A very calming end to my day. Will likely watch it on repeat if having to run on a treadmill. Would be awesome to do a whole hour run. Thanks for all the hard work you put in.

Awesome scenery! I love the angle of filming with no narration, no music just the sounds of the environment around you and the crunching of each step of the run! Very cool!

IMHO in the top 3 of your very best videos. Thank you. It is currently -4 degrees with a windchill of -21 where I am so I am a slave to an indoor track or a treadmill for a while; watching this is so inspiring to just keep going until the temps improve.

I have been looking for a well done one of these for a long time. I love how it move from the noise of life to peacefulness of the trail. Great work! Hope to see more of them

Jamil did something similar with his famous Miller vs Hawks vid where he really focused on the pitter patter. The breathing. However, Billy really has no equal in this field. Gorgeous vid sir.
