Competitive CSGO on 2012 Maps

We played a game of Counter-Strike on the original versions of classic maps, back when the olofboost was meta, nuke silo was a skill jump, & Train... train just sucked.

Maps were the same for 10 straight years. A lot changed in CS GO.

This video really highlights how criminal of a decision it was by Valve to force ESL One Cologne 2014 to not only have Overpass and Cobblestone in the map pool(only months after they were introduced), but also include that randomizer which made it impossible to veto them both.

Despite how bad the maps were back then, they hold a lot of nostalgia value. I remember playing Old Overpass, Old Nuke, Old Train and ofc Old Inferno. It was a good experience to see those maps reaching their final form over the years. Would really love to see more maps from 2012, 2013 and 2014. Those were good times to play CSGO.
