Since Russia invaded Ukraine back in February, the US has sent a literal mountain of lethal aid to the Ukrainian military. While support has largely gone to the Ukrainian army, the country’s air force and navy have also gotten a huge helping hand. Totaling almost 20 billion dollars as of November 2022, let’s take a look at some of the weapon systems the US has sent to Ukraine so far.

I apologize to any logistics personnel I ever bad mouthed while I served. Seeing Russia fail to keep their troops supplied in a country right next to them make me realize our guys back home doing their job.

It was great working with you, Infographics! I've (the person writing this) been a big fan of this show for years, so it's really exciting to have gotten the chance to work with you all. You've helped a lot of people over the years discover that education can be fun and engaging, which isn't easy to do. Please keep up the good work.

And for any viewers who are curious about Ground News, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Thanks!

I laugh remembering the times that I used to debate some people about US and Russian army capabilities, those people always insisted on convincing me that Russian army is the most powerful that not even US couldn't take them on.

Fun fact: There are two particular small arms being used in Ukraine today that date back more than 100 years. The Mosin Negant AKA Three-line rifle, was created in 1896 while an even older full auto machine gun known as the Maxim machine gun which dates back to 1886

Once more, thank you for all your very interesting information in your daily war briefings. You're the only YT channel providing a true daily news and commentary service, not just old plain entertainment - like numerous other YouTube channels do.
Greetings,

For all those people that say Americab and the USA are terrible. We do bad things but sometimes for the right reasons and we always help allies when we can! Go America!

The Stinger missile was also a nemesis to the Soviets during their war in Afghanistan in the 1980's, where Stinger missiles given to the Mujahideen by the CIA were the bane of Soviet pilots, bringing down even the fearsome Mi-24 Hind gunship and Su-25 Frogfoot attack jet.

Just to be clear, the First N in NASAMS stand for Norwegian because it was Kongsberg who developed/designed it, with cooperation with Raytheon to manufacture them! It’s just like a fun fact tho:) Norwegian surface to air system used to protect the White House!

Ukraine shouldn’t have to sacrifice its own sovereignty, national identity, the western world no longer has to see images of war on our TV screens.

Support Ukraine give them what they need if Russia wants to lash out and escalate this even further, they’ll end up paying the price for it.

While you mentioned that Ukraine is using weapons dating back to WWII, they’re in fact using WWI weapons! Notably the maxim machine gun, which they made … modifications to. But it’s still effective and wild to see

Thank God they're sending "deadly" weapons and not non-deadly ones.

Ukraine developed those unmanned craft themselves - using jetski engines - very interesting articles about it.

Just want to clarify that those did not come from the US.

The AT4 is a Swedish 84 mm (3.31 in) unguided, man-portable, disposable, shoulder-fired recoilless anti-tank weapon manufactured by Saab Bofors Dynamics (formerly: FFV Ordance, later, Bofors Anti-Armour Systems).

Sweden has already supplied some 10, 000+ to Ukraine 🤗
