Sibyl, this was wonderful and very timely for me! I've been dealing with something in the last few months that made me realize that if I'm ever going to love myself, the time is now. That's what I've been working on and this only solidified those thoughts. In fact, I submitted my poem this month about it, but called it grace.
And wow, I had a similar experience with my dad this past year too!! I'll never forget the look of pride and love on his face when he took my face between his palms. It will stay with me always. Great message!
